Window Pain

Now he's looking in the window pain again, night shift again,
Might miss the end of the train, his own window pain
To tell you what I know, it is so, so sad
When did my little baby brother get mad, innocent eyes now disguised behind veiled disgust
Mistrusting, the people they said protect him, nah, it's all a lie, they dissect him
Make him an MTV wannabe, can you be like me
He's got not even a dime, but he can do the crime
Now he's got a hundred dollar bill, wave it up in the air
People see it and they really seem to care

Looking in the window pane again, lost in my window pain

Boy, I'll be watching you, son, I got my eye on you
Working for the man everyday, be a little bit stronger, work a little bit harder
Let me tell you honey it's a one in a million chance, can you smile, wave, do a little dance for me
Can you dance for me
I never thought I'd end up like this, sad salary men, but they'll pay for my kiss
Who knew that I'd be dancing in the window, but they say, girl your body is your  in though
Clutch that tip, fuckin' shake them hips, your ass is mine if I pay that dime,
Can you treat me like I'm in my prime
Like when I was a young man, man I was some man

Boy, I'll be watching you, son, I got my eye on you
Working for the man everyday, be a little bit stronger, work a little bit harder
Let me tell you honey it's a one in a million chance, can you smile, wave, do a little dance for me
Can you dance for me
I could write a song about all the wrong
That happened in my short time, I could sing a sad rhyme
But, I won't sit on this train and cry, Put a paper to my pen and be thankful
My niece is a beautiful young one, my brother is a talented someone
And we've still got a great life to live, we've got more than this sad window pain to give
